Abstract:
The nature of personality disorders introduces a number of issues that have implications for the measurement of change. This article provides an overview of issues that should be considered in the assessment of change in personality disorders, including assessment of pervasiveness and impairment, behavior sampling issues, sources of information, problems associated with comorbidity with Axis I and other disorders, and problems with subject compliance.
