Locally Advanced Breast Cancer: Autologous Versus Implant-based Reconstruction

For locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) patients, autologous tissue reconstruction (ATR) shows lower failure rates than implant-based reconstruction (IBR), despite similar complication risks and adjuvant therapy delays. Careful consideration of implants is advised.
