Hip arthroscopy has low morbidity, but complications can occur, often neurological. The complication rate in this study did not decrease with surgeon experience.

Conclusions:
- Hip arthroscopy is associated with generally low morbidity.
- Neurological complications, often temporary and related to joint traction, are the most common.
- The complication rate did not significantly improve with increased surgical experience in this series.
