The muscles surrounding the shoulder girdle, including the clavicle and scapula, primarily stabilize the scapula. This stable base allows other muscles to move the humerus effectively. Summary

Training with the Shoulder Arthroscopy Model (SAM®) simulator significantly improved medical residents' videoarthroscopic technique skills. Residents demonstrated faster task completion, fewer errors, and better image interpretation after training.
