Pallidal stimulation for medically intractable blepharospasm

Deep brain stimulation (DBS) effectively treated blepharospasm, a focal dystonia. Globus pallidus internus (GPi) DBS significantly improved involuntary eye closure, demonstrating its potential for focal craniofacial dystonias.
