The global incidence of glaucoma is rising.
Glaucoma patients frequently require oculoplastic consultations for age-related issues or complications from glaucoma treatment.

Purpose of the Study:

To review the incidence and mechanisms of eyelid malpositions associated with glaucoma and its treatments.
To discuss surgical considerations and management strategies for these conditions.

Main Methods:

Literature review of eyelid malpositions in glaucoma patients.
Analysis of prostaglandin analogue-associated periocular changes and their mechanisms.

Main Results:

Eyelid malpositions such as ptosis and lid retraction can occur after glaucoma filtration surgery or prostaglandin analogue use.
Overcorrection of ptosis may lead to bleb exposure, increasing risks of blebitis or endophthalmitis.

Conclusions:
