Background:

  • Granulomatous mastitis is a rare, chronic inflammatory breast condition.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the sequential imaging changes in granulomatous mastitis.
  • To correlate imaging findings with clinical progression and treatment outcomes.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective analysis of imaging data from 10 patients with biopsy-proven granulomatous mastitis.
  • Classification of patients into three groups based on initial imaging presentation.
  • Observation of temporal imaging evolution within each group.

  • Initial mammography revealed mass-like architectural distortion (75%) or focal asymmetry (25%).
