Summary

Primary tumor lymph node status is a key predictor of local recurrence after salvage mastectomy for ipsilateral breast tumor recurrence (IBTR). This finding aids in understanding risk factors for breast cancer patients undergoing repeat surgery.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • Retrospective analysis of 118 patients with IBTR who underwent salvage mastectomy without irradiation.
