Adding adsorbents like powdered activated carbon (PAC) and organoclay (OC) to ferric chloride (FeCl3) coagulation effectively removes dissolved organic compounds from water. These hybrid flocs are efficiently clarified using dissolved air flotation (DAF) or sedimentation (SED).
