    Purpose of the Study:

    • To systematically review aspirin's impact on total cancer mortality and incidence in individuals eligible for CVD primary prevention.
    • To assess aspirin's effect on colorectal cancer (CRC) mortality and incidence in average-risk individuals.

    Main Methods:

    • Conducted systematic reviews of MEDLINE, PubMed, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials.

    • Limitations include data heterogeneity, varied outcome assessment, and limited follow-up in CVD prevention trials; data on non-CRC cancers were scarce.
