Reference values for Lactate Pro 2™ in fetal blood sampling during labor: a cross-sectional study

The Lactate Pro 2 (LP2) meter shows higher fetal scalp blood lactate readings than the original Lactate Pro (LP1). New reference values for LP2 are established: <6.4 mmol/L for normal, 6.4-7.3 mmol/L for preacidemia, and >7.3 mmol/L for acidemia.

- These guidelines facilitate accurate clinical management with the new LP2 lactate meter.
