Chemoradiotherapy (CRT) with mitomycin C (MMC) and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is the standard treatment for anal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Adding induction or maintenance chemotherapy to CRT offers no additional benefit for anal cancer patients.
