    Summary

    Quality of Life (QOL) is significantly impacted by chronic heart failure symptoms and treatments. Left Ventricle Assist Devices (LVADs) offer substantial QOL improvements for advanced heart failure patients, enabling greater autonomy.

    • Existing QOL assessment tools range from generic to disease-specific, including the Minnesota Living With Heart Failure Questionnaire.
