Favourable response to rituximab by an ocular adnexal primary lymphoma

Case Report:
A 70-year-old woman who presented with an extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma in lacrimal gland and conjunctiva. Initial treatment with rituximab yielded an immediate good response. Five months later she showed lymphoid proliferation in her contralateral conjunctiva. Although no additional treatment was performed, the patient has been free of systemic symptoms and recurrences.
Discussion:
Rituximab is a quite good therapeutic agent in low grade adnexal lymphomas.
