Portal hypertension and chronic pancreatitis complicating an inflammatory aortic aneurysm

Abstract:
A case of inflammatory abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is described in which the inflammatory process extended to the porta hepatis leading to portal hypertension, and to the root of the small bowel mesentery with associated chronic pancreatitis. We have been unable to find a similar case recorded in the literature.
