[EFFECT OF ANEMIA ON THE RESULTS OF KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION]
Abstract:
Renal allotransplantation is an optimal method ofreplacement treatment but needs further improvement. Hence, the importance of identification of predictors of the outcomes of application of this technology. The present study was designed to evaluate the influence of anemia on the results of kidney transplantation. It was shown that anemia in the patients undergoing hemodialysis along with left ventriclar hypertrophy may serve as a predictor of outcome of kidney autotransplantation.

Renal Failure: Dose Adjustments
Reduced renal clearance and elimination rate are common outcomes of renal impairment. These alterations lead to a prolonged elimination half-life and an altered apparent volume of distribution for drugs. As a result, dosage adjustments are typically necessary to maintain optimal drug levels in the body.
