High-pressure minerals in eucrite suggest a small source crater on Vesta

High-pressure minerals, including tissintite and super-silicic garnet, were discovered in the Northwest Africa (NWA) 8003 meteorite. These findings reveal intense shock events on the asteroid Vesta, exceeding 10 GPa and 1900°C.
