Sublingual versus subcutaneous buprenorphine in opiate abusers

Summary

Sublingual and subcutaneous buprenorphine show similar effects in opiate abusers. Both routes produced miosis and euphoria, with sublingual buprenorphine being approximately two-thirds as potent as subcutaneous administration.
