Analysis of Cryptic, Systemic Botrytis Infections in Symptomless Hosts

Many Botrytis species, including notorious pathogens, frequently exist as cryptic infections in healthy plants. These fungi can complete their life cycles without causing visible disease symptoms on their hosts.
