Preserved Nephrogenesis Following Partial Nephrectomy in Early Neonates

Neonatal rat kidneys can regenerate after partial resection if performed early (postnatal day 1). This kidney regeneration capacity is lost soon after birth, linked to a decline in Six2+ cells.
