LCD Monitors as an Alternative for Precision Demanding Visual Psychophysical Experiments

Liquid-crystal displays (LCDs) can be a viable alternative to cathode-ray tubes (CRTs) for precise visual stimulus presentation in vision research. Our findings show LCDs maintain temporal accuracy, even with peripheral retinal stimulation.
