Abstract:
Five 2-substituted 6/7-methoxy-l,4-benzodioxan-7/6-carbaldehydes and 6-methoxy-l,4-benzodioxan-7-carbaldehyde available for the syntheses of insecticidal neolignan analogs were prepared from 4/3-benzyloxy-3/4-hydroxybenzaldehydes and l,4-benzodioxan-6-carbaldehyde, respectively.
