[Neuro-oncologic diseases at a psychiatric hospital]

Nonnet pseudotumorous syndrome was observed in 67 patients which died in psychiatric clinic. Clinicopathological characterization of the syndrome was performed. In 9.4% of the patients the brain tumors were verified. Other major causes of the malignant intracranial hypertensive syndrome were chronic hematomas, cerebral abscesses, collagenoses and degenerative CNS diseases. Neurological and mental disorders were described and their syndromokynesis peculiarities noted. The need in pathological service in psychiatric clinics is stressed.
