Retroperitoneal mucinous cystadenomas and cystadenocarcinomas are rare tumors in women. This report details an additional case, contributing to understanding their unclear origins, possibly linked to ovarian development or metaplasia.

Background:

  • Retroperitoneal mucinous cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma are rare neoplasms.
