Invasive Conidiobolomycosis Can Be Successfully Treated on Burn Survivors.

Successful treatment of invasive Conidiobolus infection in an adult burn survivor was achieved. Serum beta-D-glucan (BDG) monitoring proved useful for diagnosis and management, challenging previous assumptions about Zygomycetes.
