Cerebral Lipiodol Embolism after Lymphatic Embolization for Plastic Bronchitis

Plastic bronchitis patients undergoing lymphatic procedures with lipiodol contrast may experience altered mental status. This is due to cerebral lipiodol embolization from lymphatic-pulmonary vein shunts, a potential neurologic complication.
