Summary

Guanine nucleotide-binding protein α stimulating (GNAS) gene mutations do not cause Ewing sarcoma (ES). GNAS methylation status and G-protein α subunit (Gsα) expression correlate, potentially aiding in differentiating ES from similar bone lesions.
