Temporal Association Between Nonfatal Self-Directed Violence and Tree and Grass Pollen Counts

Increased tree and grass pollen counts are linked to higher rates of nonfatal self-directed violence (SDV). This study is the first to explore the connection between seasonal pollen levels and attempted suicide, suggesting pollen may influence suicidal behavior patterns.
