  • A descriptive study was conducted with 146 third-year MBBS students at Rehman Medical College, Pakistan.
  • Students were randomized into two equal groups: one receiving lecture-based learning, the other problem-based learning on identical topics.
  • Performance was assessed using 50 multiple-choice questions, with scores analyzed statistically.

  • The mean score for the problem-based learning group was 3.2 ± 0.8.
