Genetic variations in vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) are linked to osteosarcoma risk in Chinese populations. This meta-analysis found specific VEGF polymorphisms, +936C/T and -634 G/C, significantly associated with increased and decreased osteosarcoma susceptibility, respectively.
