Cyclopeptide Alkaloids from Hymenocardia acida

Four cyclopeptide alkaloids from Hymenocardia acida roots showed moderate antiplasmodial activity. Hymenocardine N-oxide was the most potent, while three new compounds were identified, with limited cytotoxicity observed.
