Chorioamnionitis and Five-Year Neurodevelopmental Outcome in Preterm Infants

Chorioamnionitis, an infection during pregnancy, did not show a link to neurodevelopmental issues in preterm infants at age 5. However, histological chorioamnionitis was linked to slightly poorer cognitive function and memory in these children.
