Asymptomatic C-reactive protein elevation in neutropenic children

Summary

Children with C-reactive protein elevation in afebrile patients with neutropenia (CEAN) face higher febrile neutropenia (FN) risks. Early antibiotic use in CEAN patients significantly reduced FN incidence, suggesting a preventive strategy.
