Summary

Intranasal abuse of hydrocodone can cause hypersensitivity pneumonitis, a severe lung condition. Prompt treatment with steroids and respiratory support led to patient recovery.

  • Treatment with noninvasive ventilation, high-dose intravenous steroids, and bronchodilators resulted in significant clinical and radiographic improvement.
