Preoperative hemostatic assessment: a new and simple bleeding questionnaire.

A new questionnaire, HEMSTOP, effectively identifies patients at high risk for bleeding disorders. This tool shows higher sensitivity and specificity than standard coagulation tests for predicting perioperative bleeding risk.
