Noninvasive ventilation improves cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure

Noninvasive positive-pressure ventilation (NPPV) improved cardiac function in chronic heart failure (CHF) patients by enhancing ejection fraction and reducing natriuretic peptide levels. However, NPPV did not significantly impact mortality or re-hospitalization rates.
