Abstract:
Reviewed are the subtle differences between the scientific method, which is one of the foundations of current medical practice, and the scientific discovery including all the activities aimed at evidence and verification, which is not a part of daily routine and belongs to elite. Underscored is the fact that modern medicine, besides the scientific (deterministic) should repose on the ethical (humanistic) cornerstone.
