Abstract:
In this issue of Cancer Cell, Hedegaard et al. report a comprehensive multi-center transcriptional analysis of non-muscle invasive urothelial bladder cancer. They describe three molecular subtypes similar to those seen in other cohorts, as well as a unique CIS signature associated with risk of progression to muscle invasive cancer.
