[State control of vaccines]

Immunobiological preparations, especially vaccines are characterized by some specialties in manufacturing, guarantee of quality and in use. According to valid pharmaceutical legislation this group of preparations is allowed to get distributed and used with a state certificate for every lot only. The paper deals with tasks of the State Control Institute for immunobiological preparations connected with some fundamental informations on those preparations. Control procedures and methodological aspects have been taken into consideration. The statements take regard to pharmaceutical regulations to secure distribution and use of immunobiologicals.
