Interferon treatment in patients with malignant carcinoids

Purpose of the Study:

• To evaluate the efficacy and safety of human leukocyte interferon (IFN) in patients with metastatic ileal carcinoids.

• Thirteen patients with ileal carcinoids and liver metastases received subcutaneous IFN (3-6 x 10(6) IU/day, 5 days/week) for 12 months.
