Summary

This study introduces a Gradient-based Building Extraction (GBE) method to accurately detect buildings of all sizes, including those with transparent roofs, outperforming existing techniques. The GBE method enhances building extraction robustness in complex terrains by analyzing LiDAR data gradients.
