Summary

Synthesized two-dimensional (s2D) mammography combined with digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) shows similar cancer detection rates to traditional digital mammography/DBT screening. This s2D/DBT approach significantly reduces radiation dose while maintaining screening effectiveness.
