Persistent allergic rhinitis (PAR) did not impact sleep quality or obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) severity in patients with sleep-disordered breathing symptoms. The prevalence of OSAS was similar between allergic and non-allergic groups.

- The presence of PAR does not appear to affect polysomnographic parameters in patients with sleep-related breathing disorder symptoms.
- OSAS prevalence was similar in patients with and without persistent allergic rhinitis.
