Deep Vein Thrombus Occurring Immediately After Blunt Abdominal Trauma

A young patient with blunt abdominal trauma developed deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Successful anticoagulation therapy with heparin and warfarin led to complete resolution of the venous thrombus.

- The patient was discharged on warfarin and successfully weaned off anticoagulation.
