Abstract:
On a selected group of 88 patients with long-term anticoagulation therapy mostly following myocardial infarction the positive therapy results with respect to for life application are documented. A survey of bleedings is presented and some questions connected with their occurrence are discussed. In a group of 11 patients treated on average 25 years (20-30 years) with overall mean consumption of 2,343.533 mg (4,579.700--1,414.080 mg) of Pelentan per one individual and the above mentioned period the possibilities of long-term anticoagulation therapy and good tolerance of the drug applied for life are documented.
