Increased Gastric Activity on Myocardial Perfusion Imaging

Olfactory stimulation from cooking food did not alter myocardial perfusion imaging biodistribution. However, women showed a greater increase in gastric technetium-99m-tetrofosmin uptake than men during the radiopharmaceutical uptake phase.
