[Appendicitis and its complications in our 15 years' data]

The author presents in his paper his 15-year experience with the treatment of appendicitis and its complications which even nowadays may call for long-term comprehensive treatment, occasionally repeated reoperations and in rare instances they may threaten the patient's life. This is also apparent from the described case-history. The only prevention of complications is assessment of the correct diagnosis and early appendectomy.
