Abstract:
The cardiac hemodynamics and diastolic function of the left ventricle was studied by means of echocardiography in 133 patients with postinfarction cardiosclerosis allowing to distinguish hypertrophic and dilated types of myocardial lesions. It is emphasized that the character of the lesions should be considered in the choice of adequate treatment.
