[Treatment possibilities in new and chronic Bennett's fracture]
Abstract:
Follow up of 36 patients with Bennett's fracture was observed. In 20 cases out of 22 fixed by Kirschner-wireing only a good result could be reached. The closed percutaneous nailing as an independent therapeutic method is explained and prefered for standard. The open reduction and osteosynthesis should be done in closed unreduceable and delayed cases.
