Dietary flavonoid intake estimates from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Phenol-Explorer (PE) databases show strong agreement for total flavonoids, flavanols, flavanones, and anthocyanidins. These databases may be interchangeable for these flavonoid subclasses in research.
